The Funeral Consumers Alliance of San Antonio, Texas is a non-profit organization of area residents dedicated to helping our neighbors make funeral and memorial arrangements that are dignified, meaningful and affordable. 

We cover the entire Central Texas area and we are affiliated with the Funeral Consumers Alliance, a national federation of over 125 similar societies in the United States.

FCA-SATX assists the community by providing:

• Information and education regarding requirements and options in making after-death arrangements.
  
• Discounts for members at select funeral homes.
  
• Forms to pre-plan your wishes regarding after-death arrangements.
  
• Newsletters twice a year we mail members a newsletter concerning the FCA and consumer issues, and an annual price survey of local funeral homes.
  
• Speakers Bureau we have experienced speakers available to speak to your Church, Civic, or Professional Group.
  
• Consumer Protection through education, legislation and action.
  
• Transfer Arrangements to the nearest Funeral Consumers Alliance or Memorial Society nearest your new residence if you move from San Antonio.
  
• Annual Meetings continues the education process, a chance to meet other members, hear interesting speakers, and an opportunity to volunteer.
  
• Freezer Pouch, as seen in Dear Abby, comes with state specific Advance Planning documents.
  
• Volunteer Opportunities as a way for members to give back to the community.
